The SMS2GO service lets you request and receive details on the punctuality of a train and the journey solutions for a chosen departure/destination with a simple SMS .
The service is provided only on trains in Italy and with these Italian telephone operators: TIM, WIND and Vodafone

For details on the punctuality of a train, simply send an SMS to 482021 writing #<train number> (e.g. for information on the Eurostar 9424 train today, your SMS must read #9424 ).

For details on the train timetables, simply send an SMS to 482021 writing "da" (Italian for "from") <departure station> "a" (Italian for "to") <destination station>. For the departure date, add dd/mm/yy and for the time, hh:mm (e.g.: for the timetable of trains from Rome to Milan on 10 February after 8 pm, your SMS will be: "Da Roma a Milano 10/2 h 20")

After sending your request to 482021 you will receive the information desired by SMS. The SMS reply service costs 50 eurocents. (including Italian VAT). The sending of the SMS of the request instead depends on your mobile operator contract.

To receive information directly on your mobile phone on how the service works, sends an SMS with the text "info" to 482021.
