"Journey saver" ticket

Created for departures at short notice, this ticket will allow customers to board IC Plus, ES* City, ES* and AV trains (limited to the trains using ETR 500 carriages), without having to pay any surcharge, even when the sale system declares there are no places available.

For every train, a maximum number of "journey-saver" tickets are made available, without however the guarantee of a seat. The tickets are sold at the Standard Fare with the sole indication of the train booked and can be used in the same way as the others. Please note that no provision is made for this type of ticket to be issued at the Flexi and Amica fares.
