From 1 August 2007, by selecting the "Tickets" option in the timetable box, you can have information on the connections in Italy and beyond and buy tickets for travelling in Italy or in Europe (not only from Italy to Europe but also for travelling within France, Spain and other European countries).

By typing in towns/cities of departure, arrival, date and departure time, you will be shown all the journey solutions available. Choose the one best meeting your requirements and with just a few clicks, you can buy it.

Nothing has instead changed for those who want to buy a Travelcard. Simply select the "Travelcards" option and proceed as always.

The other big news is that, again starting from 1 August, you can pick up international tickets from the self service tellers found in Italy's main stations. Here you can also buy tickets to travel Europe on the international day trains.
