For its on-line tickets purchasing, Trenitalia uses the support of the San Paolo IMI bank group. The "e-shopping SANPAOLO" secure payment system allows on-line purchases to be made with greatest ease while guaranteeing security and privacy. It is based on the very latest security technology for web transactions.

The transactions in fact do not take place with instruments managed by Trenitalia but on the server with the secure technology of the Sanpaolo-Imi bank group. To pay online you can use:

Customers must subscribe to the service from the website www.bankpass.it.

To purchase, type in your User-ID and password (assigned when registering) and select the payment instrument you want to use (credit card, and the "Soldintasca" and "PagoBancomat" prepaid cards in Italy): the transaction can be completed without the data of your credit- or cashpoint card passing through the Internet.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent for every transaction.



To make purchases using Pre-paid CartaFacile you must be recognised as a subscriber to the CartaFacile circuit by using the card number, the subscription expiry data and the password chosen when enabling the card.

After paying from a special page of the CartaFacile circuit, the message confirming transaction success will instead appear on a page of Trenitalia.



IMPORTANT: Any appearance of notices from the browser informing you that you are being redirected to a non-secure server will therefore be exclusively a simple confirmation by Trenitalia of a successful transaction.
