Terms and conditions of utilisation
The Trenitalia S.p.A. Internet Site (hereinafter, for brevity, the Site) has the purpose of supplying its recipients (whether they be companies or individual users) with information regarding the corporate structure of Trenitalia S.p.A., the activities it exercises in the sector of transport of persons and goods, commercial offers, methodology of purchasing the services, the timetable and all other matters that concern the railway services.
The user acknowledges that the utilisation of the Site is subordinate to acceptance of the terms and the conditions established below.
Intellectual property

All rights to the contents (for example texts, images and the architecture of the Site) are reserved pursuant to the prevailing legislation.
The contents of the pages of the Site cannot, either totally or partially, be copied, reproduced, transferred, loaded, published or distributed in any manner without the prior written consent of Trenitalia S.p.A., with the exception of the possibility of viewing them on a personal computer or printing extracts of the pages of this Site entirely for personal utilisation.
Trenitalia S.p.A. is a registered trademark. The trademarks and the logos that appear on this site are the property of Trenitalia S.p.A and of other companies of the State Railways Group. The web site, graphics and the texts are subject to © Copyright by the owners of the trademarks (all rights reserved).
The reproduction of the trademark, affirmations subject to copyright, images and of any other form of communication is prohibited, unless with the unquestionable authorisation of Trenitalia S.p.A., and following explicit negotiation.
The names "Trenitalia" or "Trenitalia S.p.A.", in any manner associated with the trademark and the name of Trenitalia S.p.A., either partially or entirely, cannot be utilised as the internet address of other sites, or of any part of these addresses.
Such names cannot even be contained within the html codes (or other compilation languages) of the various pages of other sites: their utilisation is in fact forbidden in the so-called meta-tags of third parties other than the State Railways companies.
Any form of link to this Site, if inserted by third parties, must not cause damage to the image and activities of Trenitalia S.p.A. A deep linking cd is forbidden, that is the utilisation, on third party sites, of parts of the Site or, in any event direct connection to the pages without first passing the home page of the Site.
Any inobservance of these directives, except with explicit written authorisation, will be prosecuted in the competent civil and penal legal system.
Limits of responsibility
The texts, information and data published or accessible through form in this site are exclusively for information purposes and do not have an official character, except where otherwise provided pursuant to the prevailing legislation.
Trenitalia S.p.A. does not assume any responsibility for services offered by third parties with which the Site has activated a connecting link, nor for any other content, information or other matters contrary to the laws of the Italian state in the resource of the third party connected to the annexed link.
Information received by Trenitalia S.p.A.
Trenitalia S.p.A. treats all the personal data of its customers using the services offered on the Site with the full respect provided in the relevant Italian legislation (Law Decree 196/2003).
Pursuant to Art. 13 of the laws for protection of personal data, Trenitalia S.p.A.:
informs users that the data supplied voluntarily, including e-mail addresses, will be treated only for the purpose of supplying the information and the services requested;
undertakes not to communicate, distribute or sell any of the data in its possession to third parties without an explicit agreement with the owner of the data.
The data will be treated in an exclusively electronic form, and the relative information systems will be protected by adopting the prescribed security measures.
The exactness and veracity of the personal data communicated to Trenitalia S.p.A. is the responsibility of those transmitting it.
Pursuant to Art. 7 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003, the proprietor of personal data has the right to request, at any time, access to, cancellation of, changes to, or updating of their personal data, according to the methodology provided by the law. The person concerned shall have the right to contact the supervisor responsible for that purpose.
Any material sent to Trenitalia S.p.A. will be considered to be of a non-confidential nature.
Trenitalia S.p.A. shall not have any type of obligation with regard to this material and will be free to reproduce, use, reveal, show or transform it, produce derivative works and distribute it to third parties, without limitations and without Trenitalia S.p.A. ever being considered responsible for breach of the prevailing legislation, for example in connection with copyright, or in any event for the care of intellectual property or treatment of personal data.
Cookies
No personal data of the user is acquired by the Site in this connection. The cookies are not used for the transmission of information of personal character, nor are the so-called persistent cookies of any type utilised, or systems for tracing users. The use of so-called session cookies (that are not memorised in a persistent manner on the user's computer and vanish on closure of the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identification (constituting casual numbers generated by the server), which are necessary to allow secure and efficient exploration of the site.
The so-called session cookies utilised in this site avoid recourse to other technical information systems, potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of the users who are surfing and do not permit the acquisition of personal data to identify the user.
