NATIONALS
The new luggage transport service allows customers the facility, at some Eurostar Italia stations, to book a station porter for a given time to assist with baggage.The experimental stations of the service are Roma Termini, Florence S.M.N., Bologna Centrale and Milano Centrale.
You can use the luggage assistance service simply by Calling the Trenitalia Call Center in Italy on 89.20.21 (without area code) - and select Option 6. When booking, you must give the operator details about your journey and the PNR code on your Eurostar Italia ticket; then you can coordinate over time and the place for meeting the porter.
For customers arriving the place to meet is on the platform outside the carriage you have given, and at the actual arrival time of your train. For customers departing the meeting place at the station is agreed on directly with the Call Center operator.
The service cost is 5 euros, which must be paid to the service porter on the spot.

INTERNATIONAL
With EasyBag, the DHL service for Trenitalia customers who buy international tickets, you can travel around Europe by train with a worry and burden: your baggage.
If you're interested in the service, place call the dedicated line of 06-79075481. DHL will arrange with you the baggage pick-up date, time and place and where, when and to whom to deliver it to: home, hotel etc.
With the pick up and delivery of your luggage, your journey will be more convenient. The fares have some enticing discounts: sending a 25 kg item to or from France, Austria and Germany to/form Italy costs just 40 euro.
In addition to France, Austria and Germany you can also send your luggage to all countries served by our international trains: Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary and Romania.
What you must do:
- contact DHL on the dedicated number of +3906-79075481 at least 24 hours before departure to arrange pick-up of luggage. For some islands or remote areas, the times for booking and luggage pick-up can vary;
- the day before train departure, DHL staff will arrive at the address agreed on and, after checking your international Trenitalia train ticket (the requirement for entitlement to discount, will receive payment for the despatch amount, pick up your baggage and issue a receipt with the despatch code. Delivery will take place within 24 hours from luggage pick-up unless otherwise agreed on.
After picking up the baggage you can also book for the return leg.
