Trenitalia's international proposals for 2005 have been improved and made even more accessible to respond even better to customers' requirements, with more comfortable trains, shorter journey times, new destinations and more services.

CISALPINO

The Cisalpino trains connect Italy and Switzerland with a modern fleet of ETR 470 "Pendolini" trains, which daily serve the following sections:
The speed of the ETR 470 lets you leave from central Milan and reach the central Zurich in just 3 hours 40 minutes. On board you will find services that make your journey particularly comfortable: all carriages have air conditioning, the central part of the train has a Restaurant Car with all the quality of the Cisalpino service. A Minibar trolley shuttle service is always available too.
First-class travellers have power sockets for laptops and mobiles and complimentary daily newspapers. In both first and second class sections there are seated smoking areas (although only while in Switzerland). Some trains allow the transport of bicycles in the luggage wagon.
