It is possible to buy tickets at the station at the ticket desks or self-service machines, or at the authorized travel agencies, by telephone from the Call Center 89 20 21, or on this website.

Also, with the extension of the Ticketless, sale solution, you can now also buy tickets for Espressi (Express) and Intercity Notte (night) trains up to 10 minutes before departure from the departure station, board the train directly and then show your PNR code to the on-board personnel who will then issue you with your ticket.

Remember that, on the carriages with seats, the booked places are not indicated by the booking tags. All the places from 71 to 86 are however booking-free.

To use the Sleeper Carriages (Wagon Lits) and couchettes on the night trains, passengers must have one ticket bearing seat allocation. Subject to places availability, you can buy the supplement bed or couchette also directly on the train by asking the personnel and after pay a surcharge.

Children up to 4 who occupy a couchette or WL place with another paying passenger can travel free. Two children up to 4 years can occupy the same bed place or couchette and pay only one ticket for youngsters. Children from 4 to 12 are entitled to a 30% reduction on the overall price for accommodation in ordinary couchettes, and Comfort-, Classic- and Tourist-class sleepers.
Tickets for the Sleeper Carriage service or Couchette are valid for the day and train booked. Stamping tickets before departure is not required.

If the incoming train arrives later than 60' on the Night trains for causes ascribable to Trenitalia, customers are entitled to a Bonus voucher of 30% of the cost of ticket and booking (if the latter was charged for) for the seat and 20% for Sleeper Carriages and Couchettes.

TRANSPORT OF PETS
