Created to provide services comparable to those of high-class hotels, the Excelsior wagon lits serve the following routes:

THE CABINS
Designed thinking of the different requirements of travellers, each "Excelsior" sleeper carriage carriage has these cabins available:
• Singles: a cabin with a bed at one's disposal,
• Doppie: a cabin with two beds,
• Singole con lettino: a cabin with a bed plus small extra bed*,
• Doppie con lettino: a cabin with two beds and small extra bed*,
• Matrimoniali: large suites with double bed, equipped with all comforts.
*the small extra bed is available free of charge for a child up to the age 12.
In every cabin there is:
a toilet with closed-circuit WC, washbasin and shower
air conditioning with cabin temperature control
intercom service with adjustable alarm call
U.V. powered water purification system
electric sockets for electric razor and reading lamp,
Clothes hanger,
Doppia coperta o piumoni, biancheria completa, telo doccia e parure di asciugamani confezionati singolarmente.
SERVICES ON BOARD
when departing:

And to ensure a peaceful night's sleep, the closure of the access gates to the carriages is centralised and automatic. Also, on board a video surveillance system operates in the corridors and entranceways.
SERVICES CHARGED FOR SEPARATELY
TICKETS
For journeys made from 1 June to 30 September, you can request booking three months in advance on the outbound journey and four months in advance for the return leg.
The booking times may be shorter in special cases of variation in trains circulation, and during the periodical change of the railway timetable.
You can book the service from 2 months before and up until a few minutes before departure, from:

To use the Excelsior car cabins, only one ticket is issued, with seat reservation made at the same time.
Children up to 12 years travel free if they share a single or double cabin with another paying passenger. Children younger than four can, free of charge, use the same bed as that used by an accompanying adult or by another child younger than 12. In the double suites, instead, only one child younger than 4 years is allowed to travel free of charge.
